My love of photography began with portraiture. Working with real people is fascinating. Many are reluctant to be in front of the lens and the task really is to provide a setting into which they essentially forget I am holding a camera! The biggest delight for me is when the person really is genuinely happy with the shot and I have managed to capture them.
